I love making glass beads and wanted to share my love with you, the process, the journey…

My studio sits in the rolling hills of Northern New York. Fields and farmland surround me with beauty and wildlife. Mystery is everywhere and I like to capture a little of magic in every bead I make.

Having been a fiber artist for 20 years something magical happened when I started incorporation beads onto my fiber work. The shiny smooth glass spoke to me and I began reading and learning everything I could about making glass beads. That was 5 years ago. Now I spend hours at the torch working on new designs, color combinations and shapes.

I make my own ear wires by hammer sterling silver. I’ve been working on mixed media jewelry pieces with hand dyed ribbon, brass and gun-metal wire. I like my beads to tell a story, to communicate to the wearer something magical and meaningful.

All lampwork beads are made by me in my studio and are annealed overnight for maximum long life and durability.
